THE BRIDGE
In the summer of 2009, the Bradford family will move to Paris, France, along with a church planting team of more than 20 from Europe and America, to the suburbs west and southwest of the city to plant a new international, English-language church called “The Bridge.” The interdenominational church will feature contemporary worship music, and the Bible will be applied to everyday life.
The Bradford’s hope that the emerging congregation will be composed of people from across the spectrum of Christianity, as well as the unreligious. “The last church we had the privilege to start in the Netherlands not only saw more than three dozen nationalities worshipping together every Sunday,” says the 30-something minister, “but every kind of Christian and non-Christian background was represented.”
