Phoenix Family to Make Move to Paris
Wow! More amazing news for the development of The Bridge, an exciting new community for the 500,000 English-speaking internationals living in the Paris region! Jason and Celeste Brown, along with 11-month-old Javan, will be moving to France in the summer of 2009 for a minimum three year commitment!
Jason and Celeste are both ordained ministers, and Jason presently serves Cornerstone Christian Center in Avondale, Arizona, suburb of Phoenix. Jason is an associate pastor at Cornerstone and has served in student ministries (including university students), small groups, media and outreach. Jason is a graduate of Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California, and will earn a graduate degree from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. Jason also has experience in business with a background in corporate sales. Jason says, “Our heart is to see Paris reached with God’s love. We believe that The Bridge will be a key part of seeing this dream become a reality.”
Celeste has lived abroad both in Paraguay and Bangladesh. Celeste also served on the pastoral staff of Cottonwood Assembly of God in Cottonwood, Arizona where her role included missions, student ministry, and other roles of leadership. Celeste writes, “We are excited to be a part of this team and look forward to community with the group that is coming together.”
Javan is 11months and is walking. His favorite past time includes banging the remote control on the coffee table until the batteries fall out.
Jason and Celeste make 13 adults who are now preparing to join The Bridge launch team. To learn more about the rest of the team, click on the word “TEAM” at the top of this page.
