Kansas Couple Signs up for Paris Initiative


courtney-family-picture-2.jpgStephen and Ellie Courtney, along with their daughter, Natalie (2), are the latest family to join the team to launch The Bridge, an international church and ministry center to be located in the western and southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. The Courtneys bring with them a rich preparation and experience for Christian ministry. Stephen is an ordained minister at Maranatha Worship Center in Wichita, Kansas (www.maranathawichita.com) where he has served as an Associate/Youth Pastor for the past five years. Ellie works as an administrative assistant in Velocity Student Ministries, the youth group Stephen leads.

Stephen and Ellie both attended Central Bible College (www.cbcag.edu) in Springfield, Missouri before moving to Wichita. Stephen is originally from Beaumont, Texas, while Ellie hails from Adrian, Michigan. The Courtneys look to begin their two year assignment in September 2009, bringing with them youth and general church ministry skills. The number of adults joining The Bridge’s team fo the launch of the ministry is now 11. The Bridge is grateful for the work that God is doing in the hearts of people for the international community of Paris.
